Position Summary: Responsible for the supervision of assigned personnel, work centers, and resources needed to meet the production plan, which includes producing products on time, within budgeted costs of production, and in accordance with quality standards. This is a B shift opportunity, which runs from 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

· Provides effective training per documented training processes and maintains training records.
· Provides continuous communication including constructive feedback to employees on performance and other related employment issues.
· Maintains supporting performance documentation.
· Provides recognition to employees.
Meets production schedules.
· Controls and monitors daily production details to achieve On Time Delivery of product in accordance with the planned production schedule.
· Communicates the cause of any delay and the most efficient recovery plan in the event the planned production schedule is unable to be met.
· Manages cross-functional concerns that may impact production and collaborates with Materials, Human Resources, Quality, Research and Development, and Engineering to proactively resolve such concerns in assigned work areas.
Ensures proactive cost control.
· Ensures equipment and tool readiness.
· Ensures standards are available, understood and followed.
· Ensures accuracy of inventory released to production.
· Prevents variances of scrap, labor and materials.
· Manages area within established budget.
· Identifies and implements cost improvement projects.
Supports continuous improvement activities.
· Focuses on key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness, and product/system quality.
· Promotes and participates in the utilization of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities within assignments work centers.
· Performs root-cause analysis and establishes corrective and preventative actions to address shortcomings.
· Maintains and updates process documentation as needed to ensure effectiveness and synergy with all cross-functional areas to include Materials, Research and Development, Quality and Engineering.
Supports new product development and implementation.
· Coordinates prototype and qualification builds through collaboration in Research and Development.
· Co-develops new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) through collaboration with Research and Development, Process Engineering, and Quality resources.
· Trains workforce to new standards and monitors effectiveness of training.
Demonstrates support for overall organizational goals.
· Demonstrates willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization.
· Participates in Entegris' continuous quality improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction.
· Participates in developing individual skill sets to meet today and tomorrow’s business needs.

Education/Experience:
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Field of Study: Business, Management, Operations, or other relevant course study
Type of Experience: Minimum of 5 years production and 2 years supervision
Physical Demands:
Physical activities: Physical effort normally found in an office/production environment which includes sitting, standing, walking and occasional lifting and/or carrying of light- to moderate-weight objects.
Work Environment:
The job function requires activities to be performed in both office and clean room environments.
