Position Title: Marketing Assistant

Position Summary:
The Marketing Assistant provides administrative and marketing support to the Product Marketing and Product Management group. This position provides critical support to the release to sales process.

Essential Job Duties:
Administrative Support
Answer and route incoming phone calls to appropriate personnel.
Gather and distribute office correspondence (mail).
Assist in scheduling and arranging meetings as needed.
Assist with travel arrangements as needed.
Manage and maintain office equipment and office supplies for Sales & Marketing.
Upload and maintain Intranet GMC content with input from Marketing Management as needed.
Participate in the planning and implementation of employee communications and activities.
Marketing
Assist Product Management with research, reporting, and item dashboards as needed.
Act as conduit between GMC Product Management and Corporate Marcom when applicable to assist with tradeshows and other duties as needed.
Under Product Management’s guidance and input, prepare preliminary datasheets.
Under Product Management’s guidance and input, prepare and maintain product manuals and labels.
Responsible for submitting GMC preliminary data sheets, manuals and labels to Corporate Marcom for approval and review prior to release.
Assemble datasheet packages as needed for sales and marketing support.
Customer Service
Appropriately route Technical Service and Customer Service phone lines.
Manage and distribute incoming website e-mail (i.e. GateKeeper@aeronex..com) to appropriate sales/product support person.
Demonstrates support for overall organizational goals.
Demonstrates willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization.
Participates in Entegris’ continuous quality improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction.
Participates in developing individual skill sets to meet today and tomorrow’s business needs.

Nature and Scope:
Works under limited supervision.
Assistance available for problem solving: Refers some questions/problems to a higher level.
May be designated as a lead worker.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with Microsoft Office products – Strong in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
Must demonstrate an ability to learn new skills and work outside of the comfort zone.
Strong interpersonal skills (customer service experience a plus)
Understands and feels comfortable working in a multi-cultural/multi-national organization.
Must be able to work independently and prioritize work appropriately.
Must demonstrate strong follow-through and commitment to deadlines.
Ability to multi-task and maintain confidential information.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Basic proficiency in PhotoShop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Framemaker highly desired.

Education/Experience:
Associates degree and two years related experience required. Degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred, as well as experience in a Sales & Marketing department in a manufacturing organization, preferably in a High Tech company.
Working Environment:
Physical Demands: Office area – work is largely sedentary.
Lifting requirements: May require lifting and carrying small objects.
Vision requirements: Normal business reading.

Travel: Travel is not required.
Overtime: Overtime is not required.
On Call: Not required.
Call in: Not required.
