Position Title: Technical Sales Specialist

Position Summary:
Position is responsible to define, establish and manage needed expert resources to support Account Management. This position will also assist with the sales strategy development and execution for the Photo Dispense SBU in order to maximize revenue, profit, and market share growth. Additionally, coordinate with GPS resources to compliment their efforts and aid in development of sales processes and enable sales success.

Position Key Responsibilities:
· Establish and maintain expertise in the selling of Photo Dispense products and services
· Support Account Management directly in sales pursuit and negotiation activities
· Access and coordinate the use of Entegris resources in new business pursuit
· Maintain relationships with key customer decision makers
· Coordinate with GPS on major strategic initiatives from the SBU
· Grow sales and market share to achieve Entegris objectives
· Drive customer centric new product penetration plans.
· Develop, set and clearly communicate product strategy to the field personnel. This includes coordination of launch plan/activities, monitoring the progress of the launch vs. plan, and formulating the response to customers.
· Provide information to SBU’s to ensure customer inputs are received for product life cycle management considerations.
· Take ownership of issues, which cannot be resolved by sales and applications support, e.g. Specification or Quality related.
· Secure SBU or Operation’s formal response and formulate responses to customers.
· Responsible to formally initiate new product requests from the field and secure/drive commitments from Product Management. Support product life cycle planning.
· Identifying training needs within the selling operation and implement action either personally or via the corporate training group.
· Be technical advisor to the selling operation on market/product issues, coordination of related technical service projects.
Support supply chain/logistic initiatives
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Proven communication, planning and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers.
· Since this role is a liaison between customers, field sales and the SBU, good written and oral communication skills are essential.
· Supervisory skills a plus.
· Ideal candidate is an independent, assertive self-starter with good people skills, who has 5+ years experience in sales and/or marketing.
· Knowledge of the manufacturing system within the microelectronics industry.
Technical or product management experience in semi-conductor industry or related technical market is strongly desired
Education and Experience:
Required: A BS in an engineering discipline with at least 3-5 years of “photolithography” experience in the semiconductor industry preferred, or a relevant combination of experience and education.
Working Environment:
Environment:
Significant travel (up to 50%) is required to support the selling operation.
